1. Information ARKIYO may process
ARKIYO may process trip details you enter, such as dates, preferences, selected places, itinerary choices, reservations you add, check-ins, ratings, and reviews. You can explore and plan as a guest, in which case that information stays in your browser on the device you used. If you create an ARKIYO account, your profile, trip setup, discovery preferences, check-ins and reviews are also stored in ARKIYO's hosted database so they can follow you across devices.
2. Accounts and sign-in
Accounts are optional for exploring and planning, and required for purchasing. Sign-in uses Google sign-in or an emailed sign-in link. When you sign in we process your email address, the account identifier issued by the sign-in provider, and any display name or avatar that provider shares. Signing in for the first time may copy trip and progress information already saved in your browser into your account. You can request account deletion through the Contact page.
3. Location information
ARKIYO requests location only when a location-aware feature such as Live Mode is active and you grant browser permission. Location supports contextual guidance while the web app is open. ARKIYO does not claim to collect constant or background GPS location after the app or browser tab is closed.
4. Browser storage and service data
Browser storage can remember trip and discovery choices on your device. Connected service providers may process technical information needed to host the product, provide maps or place information, route requests, store supported product data, and maintain reliability. Their handling of information is governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices.
5. Payments
Paid ARKIYO Trip Pass purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy acting as Merchant of Record. Payment and card details are collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy terms; ARKIYO never receives or stores full payment-card details. ARKIYO stores only the purchase record needed to unlock what you bought: the order identifier, product and price details, currency, purchase status, and the account and trip the purchase belongs to.
6. How information is used
Information is used to provide and improve trip discovery, planning, itinerary, Live Mode, reservation-awareness, exploration, review, safety, and reliability features. ARKIYO does not sell travel inventory and does not use location to promise continuous tracking.
7. Your choices
You can deny or revoke location permission through your browser. You can also clear browser storage through your browser settings, which may remove locally saved trips and preferences. If you have an account, you can request access to or deletion of your stored account data through the Contact page.
8. Changes to this policy
ARKIYO may update this policy as the product and its connected services change. The date above identifies the latest published version.
